Pricing and data storage - Microsoft Dynamics CRM v.s. Salesforce.com - Part 3

While comparing between SFDC & Dynamics CRM, like other is Pricing is a very critical decision maker with other features & some time.

Licensing price comparison with respective edition features:

Since November 2013, Unlimited Edition is no longer available for purchase. Existing Unlimited Edition customers can continue to renew Unlimited Edition, purchase additional licenses, or upgrade to Performance Edition, which includes all Unlimited Edition functionality plus Data.com, Work.com, Identity, Live Agent, Salesforce Knowledge, and additional sandbox functionality.
Unlimited Edition customers can choose to upgrade to Performance Edition or continue to use Unlimited Edition, which will continue to receive enhancements and innovations during salesforce.com’s regular upgrade cycles.

Data Storage:

Differences in storage are important to note as well. Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online provides 5 GB of storage upfront compared to the 2 GB offered by Salesforce.com. For CRM Online, additional storage can be purchased at $119.88 per year per 1 GB of data or file storage. Salesforce.com however charges $250.00 per year for an additional 1 GB of just data storage. For additional file storage, they charge an extra $60.00 per 1 GB. This means, if you need both, Salesforce.com will charge you $310.00 a year for those extra 2 MB.

A Salesforce.com account is also called an organization. For organizations with less than 50 users, the account gets 1GB of DATA STORAGE and 12.5GB of FILE STORAGE.
With Professional and Enterprise User Licenses, you get 20MB/user (Unlimited User licenses get 120MB/user)
Depending on your business, it is absolutely possible to spend more on data storage than licensing annually.Additional storage space can always be purchased from Salesforce.com. They sell storage space in 50MB and 500MB blocks. An additional 500MB of Data storage is $125 / mo while File Storage is $5 / mo for 1 GB

I hope pricing and data storage comparison between Microsoft Dynamics CRM & Salesforce.com will help to understandthe differences and decision making.
